These Are a Few of My Favorite Things… from 2020

It’s been a hell of a year.

Every year, I like to end off talking about some of the things I truly loved over the last 12 months. In 2020, however, finding things to love has been few and far between.

To put it bluntly, 2020 has sucked. We’ve had to deal with a global pandemic, civil unrest, political division, the loss of jobs, the loss of hundreds of thousands of lives… it seems almost pointless to talk about things as trivial as my favorite movies, especially since we haven’t had a lot of them to go around.

But I think in the middle of all of this mess, it is important to talk about the things that brought us joy. So, without further ado, here are the things that brought me joy in this dismal year.

Movies

As I mentioned, movies are a commodity that has been few and far between this year. With theaters being closed in the majority of the country (and much doubt about visiting the ones that are open), this year has seen a lot of re-watching of old favorites.
