My iPad mini 6 Has Developed a Fault: Part II
The silver (Starlight) lining.
Back at the beginning of November, I wrote about an issue that was plaguing my brand new iPad mini 6. Out of the blue, it decided that it was very much against having a USB-C cable shoved up its ass to charge it.
At the time, I could not figure out why it was having this conniption; every time I’d plugged the iPad mini in before, it would immediately begin topping off its battery as one would expect any iPad — or device in general — to do, but now it was acting as if it didn’t recognize that anything was being plugged in at all.
I did all the usual stuff; I tried a different cable, a different power adapter, a different outlet, and a different power strip — and yes, before you ask (Apple Support asked too), I made sure they were all Apple-brand cables and adapters, and I even went the extra mile to make sure those same cables, adapters, outlets, and power strips charged other USB-C devices with no issue. Whew.
