Into the Unknown: A Frozen II Review
When Frozen came out, I was a little hesitant to see it. It quickly became one of those movies that was hyped into oblivion; everyone, and I mean everyone, was singing “Let It Go” and frankly, I just wanted everyone to listen to the title lyrics and let it go.
I mean, they were saying it was as good as Beauty and the Beast and I frankly couldn’t fathom anything could be as good as that classic of animated cinema.
When I finally watched it, I had to admit, it was damn good. It wasn’t Beauty and the Beast, but it was an instant classic. After all, Disney rarely slouches when it comes to animated flicks.
But the hype barely died down, and even though I loved it, I quickly became adverse to it; I still haven’t watched it since I first watched it (that will be changing very soon, thanks to Disney Plus).
But the trailers for Frozen II looked- to put it mildly- fantastic. It looked like a fantasy epic, less like a sequel to a money-making Disney flick and more the natural next story that the characters deserved.
