I was concerned that the smudges would bother me on the Midnight Mac, but I've seriously forgotten all about them until I see a video or article that mentions them. I agree, it feels more like the smudges are adding character than anything else and they really aren't the issue that I expected them to be. I thought about trading for Starlight but I'm glad I stuck with Midnight, it is definitely the most unique color out of the new Macs.
