How Much Smart Do You Need in Your Watch?

Tis the season to be shopping, falalalalalalalala.

It’s Black Friday weekend. What do you get there person who has everything (a smartphone, a computer, and a tablet)? A streaming device? Everyone’s got one. A digital Assistant speaker that may or may not be spying on you? That’s old hat. A camera that reports directly to Facebook? Just… no.

If you are searching for the perfect gift for the gadgetly inclined, or perhaps just your own next gadget, you might find yourself turning to smart watches. I mean, what else could you need? It’s all (or most… or some…) of the smarts of your phone… in a watch. Maxwell Smart and Inspector Gadget would be proud (although Don Adams might find that a bit redundant).

But the real question is which smart watch should you get? Take it from a guy who has bought (and returned) his fair share, they are not in any way made equal.
