That’s not a typo- I’m pitting the same laptop against itself!

When I completed my recent lengthy search for a new computer, I found that there were a few laptops that I absolutely loved. And while I ended up with the Google Pixelbook Go, I still had a lingering love for the Surface Laptop 3. And that was a love that just wouldn’t go away, no matter how much I would have liked it to.

Before my return window at Best Buy closed for good, I decided that I needed to test out the Surface Laptop 3 one more time. But this time, I decided to make one meaningful change.

You see, what I love most about my Pixelbook Go was it’s matte black finish. And what I was most concerned about with the Surface Laptop 3 was it’s Alcantara keyboard deck. So, this time around, I learned. I picked up the all-metal, all-black Surface Laptop 3, and, well, I think there’s enough of a difference between it and the Alcantara version that I’m going to write about it. And… hopefully… you’re going to read about it.
