100,000 people.
Come on guys.
We need to stop this virus. We need to do everything in our power to stop it.
Stay home if you can. Wear a mask if you can’t. Wash your hands frequently. Keep your distance from others.
It isn’t just about keeping yourself from getting sick. It’s about preventing others from catching it from you. Many cases are asymptomatic; you might have it and you don’t know it. But many others aren’t, and clearly have led to so much suffering and loss.
Don’t be selfish, be selfless.
What we are being asked to do to prevent the spread is inconvenient, but it isn’t impossible.
Especially now, as some restrictions are being lifted across the country, it doesn’t mean we should go out to gather and celebrate. It doesn’t mean we should be crowding restaurants and stores. We are a long way from normal, and cases are continuing to rise.
We can fight this disease. We can do our very best to stop the spread until a vaccine can be made. We have to. We must.

How many of them would still be with us if we’d listened sooner, acted faster, and taken this thing seriously from day one? How many more will it take before we all stop fighting over politics and who’s right and…
